CELIA MACDONALD

Celia graduated from the National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Art (NASDA) in Christchurch where she performed in musicals such as 42nd Street, Urinetown, and Holiday Inn. In 2019, Celia was the recipient of the New Zealand Dance Awards ‘Most Likely to have a Professional Career Award’. Currently, Celia teaches children all over the Wellington region with Spotlight Performing Arts, Leaping Lizards, and Rata Studios.  Celia is currently writing her first solo show ‘A Fat Girl’s Cry’ to premier at BATS Theatre in March 2023. Celia is excited to take the Wellington Stage again with Kinky Boots!
