FRANCES ASH

Frances made her on stage debut at the young age of three in her first ballet recital, she quickly realised, however, that ballet was not her calling and turned to musical theatre. At eight years old she started her training with Janine Donnell who, 20 years later, is still her vocal coach and mentor. In 2014 Frances moved to Melbourne and took a break from the theatre but when Covid-19 hit in 2020 it bought her back to New Zealand and back to the stage. She recently performed as part of an ensemble cast in the Donnell Studios Production of Broadway & Beyond and played the part of Miss Flemming in the MPA 2022 production of Heathers. Frances is thrilled to make her Civic Theatre debut as part of such an exciting production.
