Thank You for the Music, a world first!

New Zealand was the first country in the world to receive the pro-am rights to Mamma Mia. A totally new set design was created by the acclaimed John Harding, which featured a Greek Taverna, a jetty emerging from the orchestra pit and a giant olive tree caressing the proscenium arch. Truly a work of art. International star Delia Hannah played Donna alongside Jackie Clarke as Rosie and Minouk van der Velde as Tania and with such an amazing cast it rocked at the Civic for three glorious weeks.
