From the stunning chandelier built by NZ Opera NZ and the stunning costumes designed by Allan Lees this Andrew Lloyd Webber masterpiece captured the hearts of passionate theatre goers across the country. Chris Crowe played the Phantom and during the Auckland season surpassed over 100 performances in the role during the NZ tour. Barbara Graham played Christine, her lilting voice was sublime and had audiences captivated with her Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again performance. For our Musical Director Penny Dodd, this show rekindled her memories of playing in the production when it premiered in London.
